A message from Adam Dusome, Registrar, Senior Director, Enrolment Services:
I am very pleased to announce that Josh Levac has accepted the role of Director, Enrolment Services – Financial Aid.
Josh comes to Niagara College from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he has led the Student Awards and Financial Aid department for the past 10 years. His department was integral in supporting students wholistically as they navigated the complexities of the Canadian student aid landscape. At Lakehead, he also developed close working relationships with colleagues and staff to implement a central hub for students, Student Central, to assist them with Admissions, Registration, Academic and Financial Aid advising.
Josh was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario and welcomes the opportunity to move closer to home. His life journey has taken him across the country where he has lived in Nova Scotia, Alberta, Manitoba, and most recently Northern Ontario. During this time, Josh has gained valuable experience as both a student and administrator in post-secondary education. Josh holds a Master’s degree from the University of Manitoba where, after graduating, he worked as front-line support assisting students. It was during this time that Josh became involved with the Canadian Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA), an association in which he currently holds the role of President.
Josh’s experiences as a leader have provided him with a strong skill set to lead NC’s Enrolment Services department in providing excellent student service. He is excited to join our team to help NC students succeed.
We look forward to welcoming Josh when he begins his role on April 29, in time to experience our spring start up.
