Calling all employees with expertise in creative industries, and digital learning and education technology for a global opportunity in Grenada
Niagara College’s Institute for Global Education and Training is preparing a proposal for the Grenada Skills and Innovation Project (SKIP)–a five-year initiative funded by the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) targeting four national priorities.
If NC’s proposal is successful, the College would lead work related to the Creative Industries stream, integrated with cross-cutting support in Digital Learning and Educational Technology.
Working alongside the Government of Grenada, T.A. Marryshow Community College, and the New Life Organization, Niagara College will drive curriculum enhancement, faculty capacity building, and multi-year implementation support.
To support proposal development and prepare for potential project delivery, NC is inviting expressions of interest from employees across all employee groups (support, administration and faculty) whose qualifications and experience align with the anticipated requirements below by end of day Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

- Experience integrating digital tools, e-learning platforms, online assessments, and competency-based methodologies into higher education curricula.
Creative Industries
Key Role:
- Provide technical and sector-specific guidance on developing competency-based curricula in creative arts and media, embedding market-driven entrepreneurship, and facilitating faculty training.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Key/lead expert qualification: Master’s degree in Digital Media, Cultural Studies, or a relevant creative discipline. Supporting expert consideration: Those without a Master’s degree are encouraged to still apply, as they may be considered for supporting specialist roles, subject to the final project structure and client requirement.
- At least seven years of experience developing competency-based training in creative arts or media production.
- Experience embedding entrepreneurship and market-driven innovation in at least two curricular outputs.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, including working with government and education institutions.
- Ability to facilitate training and develop training materials.
- Experience working in international development projects is an asset.
Anticipated timing and level of effort:
If NC is selected, project activities are expected to begin between December 2026 and January 2027 and may continue for approximately two years. Expert contributions may involve defined periods of work, and/or intermittent assignments rather than continuous full-time engagement. The specific role, level of effort, delivery format and any travel requirements would be confirmed during project planning.
What employees should expect:
- Submission of an expression of interest (EOI) indicates interest and does not guarantee roster qualification, inclusion in the proposal or a future assignment.
- NC’s Global Education Projects team will contact an applicant before including their Curriculum Vitae (CV) or identifying them as a proposed expert in an external submission.
- If NC is awarded the project, potential assignments will be discussed with shortlisted employees and their leaders before any commitment is finalized.

Interested NC employees are invited to submit their EOI application by end of day Wednesday, September 30, 2026. To apply, please complete the following steps:
- Discuss with Supervisor: Before submitting, please discuss your interest in this opportunity with your supervisor to ensure their awareness and support.
