The NOTL Local shared the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce’s release on the 2026 Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, which recognized several NC alumni and organizations employing NC graduates. Award recipients included:
- Outstanding New Business: Spaceless Marketing (Ben Burns, Journalism, 2012)
- Excellence in Business Award – Not-for-Profit: Early Childhood Community Development Centre (Kelsey Henderson, Early Childhood Education, 2016)
- Excellence in Business Award – 26 or More Employees: Subaru of Niagara (Devin Kaulback, Police Foundations, 2010)
- Excellence in Hospitality and Tourism Award: 13th Street Winery (Corinne Maund, Culinary Skills – Chef Training, 2015; Jennifer Greenwell, Pharmacy Assistant, 1999, and Hairstylist Apprenticeship – Advanced, 2003)
- Environmental Leadership Award: Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (22 NC alumni employed)
- Business of the Year: Airbus Helicopters Canada (18 NC alumni employed)
