Lora Tisi, Chair of the Niagara College Board of Governors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Benger to the Board.
As Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Health & Safety at Walker Industries, Benger serves on the company’s Executive Committee and has led several enterprise-wide initiatives in the areas of human resources, people and talent acquisition and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Benger brings extensive experience and expertise in employment law, employee relations, collective bargaining, governance and risk management to the Board.
Benger is also active in the community through the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce and regional planning organizations. She has a deep appreciation for the important role that colleges play in the economic prosperity of their communities and is committed to supporting Niagara College through principled governance and continuous improvement.
Benger’s current appointment runs to August 31, 2027.
