The Niagara Independent posted an article on NC’s CICE program, the valuable opportunities it provides individuals with developmental disabilities and other significant learning disorders, the new CICE Experiential Learning Lab, and the Ontario Thorold Paper Foundation’s contributions to the new facility and NC since 1979.
The new lab has allowed for new programming such as the STEP-UP initiative, which earned a 2025 Niagara College President’s Award for Innovation in Student Learning and Success. The project is a part of Niagara College’s Together campaign.
