Call for Niagara College experts in gender and inclusion policy and capacity building

Calling all employees with expertise in gender and inclusion policy and capacity building for a global opportunity in Mongolia.

Niagara College’s Institute for Global Education and Training is preparing a proposal for exciting international collaborations under SkillShift Mongolia, a five-year (2025-2030) program funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada. The program is delivered by Colleges and Institutes Canada in partnership with the Mongolian Ministry of Education (MOE).

This call is directly related to the SkillShift-03 project on National Gender and Inclusion Policy for TVET. This partnership will work with the MOE, the National Committee on Equality Committee (NCGE), polytechnic leaders and other stakeholders to develop a national TVET policy on gender equality and inclusion and pilot it in the three institutions.

To support this project, individuals with the following qualifications are encouraged to express their interest:

  • Experience conducting gender analysis and integrating inclusion into programs
  • Experience developing gender and inclusivity policies and implementation plans
  • Experience in supporting the implementation of policies in educational contexts
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, including working with government and education institutions
  • Ability to facilitate training and develop training materials
  • Experience working in international development projects is an asset

Duration: Long-term consultancy (approximately 3.5 years) with the project’s inception phase expected to take place from June to September 2026 and the implementation phase beginning in October 2026.
