Education Times reported that a Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) delegation of five prominent community and polytechnic colleges is visiting New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai to meet with government officials and strengthen education and workforce development partnerships between the two countries.

Among the delegation, NC President Sean Kennedy emphasized the importance of preparing students with industry-focused skills.

“At Niagara College, we focus on hands-on learning and close industry collaboration. From healthcare, agriculture, technology, and advanced manufacturing, we prepare students with the practical skills needed to succeed in the workforce,” said Kennedy. “Applied research is central to our approach, enabling students to develop products in collaboration with industry partners.
