A March 4 article from Niagara Now announced that NC alumnus Yoshi Takaoka (Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations (Co-op) program, 2013), manager and head sommelier at Masaki Sushi in Niagara-on-the-Lake, has recently become one of 46 people in the world — and the only Canadian — to earn a master sake sommelier designation.
