BPSN announced that the Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame will add nine new members, including alumna Carolyn Ladas (Social Service Worker program, 1981 and Early Childhood Education program, 1983).
The article includes a profile on Ladas, highlighting that at NC, she was named Female Athlete of the Year in 1980-81 and 1981-82 and became the college’s career scoring leader with 778 points, a record that stood for 27 years. She consistently ranked among the top scorers in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association, finishing fourth in 1981 with an average of 16.7 points per game. Her Niagara College accomplishments also included an Athlete of Distinction award, most valuable player award, a school letter for varsity basketball and eventual induction into the Niagara College Knights Hall of Fame.
