Support NC Athletics Thumbs Down to Cancer Raffle

NC Athletics is inviting you to support cancer awareness through the Thumbs Down to Cancer raffle, with proceeds going to the Walker Family Cancer Centre via the Niagara Health Foundation.

The draw is being held in honour of Abbey Gooder, a fifth-year General Arts and Science student-athlete and member of the Knights women’s volleyball team, following her recent fight against thyroid cancer. Abbey has been part of the NC Knights since 2021 and is currently competing in her final season with the program. She previously completed the Protection, Security and Investigation – Customs Border Services program as well as the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Niagara College.

Raffle tickets are over 60% sold and will close Friday, January 16 with the draw happening on Monday, January 19.

Prizes include:

  • Toronto Maple Leafs tickets (300 section)
  • Welland Jackfish box seats
  • Niagara River Lions fan experience
  • And more!

To enter, fill out the raffle form and a representative will reach out with your ticket number(s). Tickets can also be purchased in person or via e-transfer (cash or e-transfer accepted) by contacting Geoffrey Benoit at [email protected].
