Niagara College wishes you a safe and happy holiday season.
During the holiday break, NC campuses will be closed from December 24 to January 4. Normal hours of operation will resume on January 5.
Some services may be operating on modified hours leading up to and during the holiday closure and early in the new year – including the Wine Visitor + Education Centre.
Below is a list of operating hours for our services and enterprises over the holidays.
Wine Visitor + Education Centre: The Wine Visitor + Education Centre will be open with regular hours of operation (Sunday to Thursday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) with modified hours on the below dates.

Teaching Greenhouse: The Greenhouse will be open with regular hours until December 24 and will operate with reduced hours until January 4 from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and closed on weekends. Regular hours of operation will resume on January 5.
Academic Advising & Career Services: Academic Advising & Career Services will be closed from December 24 to January 4 and will re-open with regular hours of operation on January 5.
Ancillary Services: Ancillary Services (Food Services & Ricoh Print services) on both campuses will be closed from December 24 to January 4 and will re-open in the new year.
Athletics & Recreation: Fitness Centres and gymnasiums on both campuses will operate with reduced hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed on weekends, from now until December 23 and will be closed from December 24 to January 4.
Fitness Centres and gymnasiums on both campuses will be closed from December 21 to January 1 and will re-open with reduced hours on January 2 to 3. Reduced hours of operation will resume on January 5 from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the week of January 5 – 9 and closed on weekends. Regular hours of operation will resume on January 12 from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Benchmark: Benchmark will be closed on December 19 and will resume regular hours of operation on January 13.
Bookstore: The Welland Campus bookstore will be closed from December 24 to January 4 and will re-open with regular hours of operation on January 5. Online ordering is also available via the Campus Bookstore website.
Campus Safety & Parking Services: During the holiday closure, the Welland Campus and the DJP Campus exterior doors will be locked starting December 24, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. to January 5, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. Should you require access to either Campus, you must contact Security 905-735-2211 ext.6999 or email [email protected]. Access to either facility will be at the discretion of Security, or as previously approved/communicated.
Community Employment Services (43 Church St. in St. Catharines): CES will be open with revised hours form December 24 to January 2 (closed weekends) and will re-open with regular hours of operation on January 5. Please see the revised schedule below:

- December 25: Closed
- December 26: Closed
- December 29: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- December 30: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- December 31: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- January 1: Closed
- January 2: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Enrolment Services: On-campus and virtual services will be closed December 24 to January 4 and will re-open with regular hours of operation on January 5. Students may continue to submit requests via email and student portal. Requests will be reviewed in priority sequence when Enrolment Services re-opens on January 5. Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services: HWAS will be closed from December 24 to January 4 and will re-open with regular hours of operation on January 5.
Good2Talk
Good2Talk is a free, province-wide service for students in college/university and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It provides professional counselling, mental health information and connections to local resources. COAST Niagara / Mental Health and Addiction Help Line
COAST provides services to people in the Niagara Region who are in crisis and have a mental health concern. Ongoing telephone support and/or referral to appropriate follow-up services may be recommended to prevent further crisis.

Indigenous Education: Both Indigenous Education Centres will be closed from December 24 to January 4 and will re-open with regular hours of operation on January 5.
International Centres: Both campus International Centres will be closed from December 24 to January 4, and regular hours will resume on January 5.
ncLibraries and Learning Commons: Both campus libraries will be closed from December 24 to January 4 and will resume regular hours of operations on January 5. Academic Drop Ins have also concluded for the fall term and will resume on January 12 Online resources are available 24-7 at niagaracollege.ca/library.
Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) offices and Student Centres: NCSAC offices and virtual chat services will be closed from December 19 to January 4 and will re-open with regular hours of January 5. The Core and The Armoury, and The Shack and Undergrounds will also be operating with reduced hours for the week of December 15 – 19 and will be closed from December 24 to January 4. Regular hours of operation will resume January 5.

- The Shack: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- The Core: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Undergrounds: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Armoury: Closed (open only for caterings or special events)
Student Rights & Responsibilities Office (SRRO): SRRO will be closed from December 24 to January 4 and will re-open with regular hours of operation on January 5.
Teaching Salon: The Teaching Salon and the Pavilion is now closed for the fall term and will re-open with regular hours on January 9.
Teaching Spa: The Teaching Spa is currently closed and will re-open in January 2026 (date TBD). Please check ncteachingspa.ca in January 2026 for up-to-date information on hours and services available.
