The unveiling of NC’s new Horticulture and Environmental Sciences Innovation Centre (HESIC) Greenhouse was featured in an article from Greenhouse Canada, highlighting the official ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 14.

Located at the College’s Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the greenhouse is outfitted with five individually contained research bays containing advanced technology and equipment to carry out specialized trials and tests.

President Sean Kennedy is quoted in the article taken from an NC release: “Our HESIC Greenhouse is a powerful testament to Niagara College’s leadership in applied horticultural research. With an award-winning Research and Innovation division and a new state-of-the-art facility dedicated to sowing the seeds of innovation, we look forward to growing our impact on Niagara’s horticultural sector.”
