Tessa Vahmreyer has been named the OCAA Female Soccer Athlete of the Week for Sep.29 to Oct. 4, following a standout performance that saw her score four goals in two games.
The second-year Police Foundations student found the back of the net twice against Conestoga and added another two goals against Redeemer, helping the Knights maintain their position at the top of the OCAA West Conference standings.
Playing as a striker, Vahmreyer has been a force up front all season, tallying 11 goals in just nine games. Her consistent scoring and leadership on the field have been instrumental to the team’s success.
The Knights will look to close out the regular season on a high note this Saturday, Oct. 11, when they host Lambton College at Youngs Sportsplex.
