Niagara College will join postsecondary institutions across Canada in recognizing Consent Awareness Week, September 15 to 19.
The annual national campaign is dedicated to promoting understanding of consent, healthy relationships, and sexual violence prevention. It raises awareness about the importance of clear, voluntary, and ongoing consent in all interactions, while encouraging open conversations, education, and community action to build safer and more respectful environments.
NC’s Student Rights and Responsibilities Office encourages students, staff, and faculty to participate in Consent Awareness Week through a series of activities and events aimed at dialogue, education, and action.
