Members of the NC community are gearing up to participate in the 17th annual Big Move Cancer Ride in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre at Niagara Health.

On Sunday, September 14, NC’s Big Move team, along with hundreds of participants, will take off from White Meadows Farms on a 14K, 25K, 50K, or 75K bike ride through scenic Pelham. All routes end back at White Meadows Farms, where riders and their families can enjoy a BBQ lunch, live music, and ceremonies.

There’s still time to support NC’s team. You can register to participate or make a donation to the team or to an individual rider through the College’s Big Move fundraising page. Currently, the team is in the top 10 on the fundraising leader board with a goal to raise $5,000!

If you have questions about the ride, please email team leads Joanne Maltby or Mike Pasquale. A Microsoft Teams page is also available to NC team members – email Joanne to be added to the group.

Whether you are riding in celebration of a cancer survivor, in support of a cancer patient, or in memory of a loved one lost, riders and donors can take pride in knowing that every dollar raised supports local cancer care. For full event details, visit the Big Move Cancer Ride website.
