On Wednesday, November 5, Niagara College will welcome grade nine students to experience a day of learning, exploration, and fun in the workplace.
Take Our Kids to Work Day is open to all employees in our community. If you are a parent, caregiver, family member or family friend of a grade 9 student, you can sponsor them for the day!
From 8:30 a.m. to noon, students will participate in activities and tours that give them a first-hand look at career choices in today’s workplace.
In the afternoon, students will shadow their parents or NC sponsor in their class, lab or office to gain an understanding of and appreciation for their work lives.
Registration will open in the fall and a full agenda will be sent out in late October.
