With Fiona Allan scheduled to retire in December, 2025 after 31 years at NC, I am writing to provide an update on our search for a new Vice President, Academic.
A national search is now underway for our next academic leader, and a posting for this position is now live. The posting will remain active until the position is successfully filled. The first candidate review is expected to take place in August.
As the senior academic leader at the College, the new Vice President, Academic will join NC at a time of extraordinary change, as we look to grow enrolments and introduce new programs against a backdrop of profound shifts in the postsecondary sector. We are seeking an experienced postsecondary leader who values and inspires student and employee success, reflects our unique culture, and embodies the welcoming, passionate and trailblazing characteristics that set NC apart.
