Niagara College is proud to share that Dr. Chris McGrath, Vice President, Students, has been appointed to the Niagara Health Board of Directors. His appointment was confirmed during the organization’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 24.
“As a newcomer to the Niagara region and a leader in a public organization, I think it’s vitally important to contribute my knowledge and experience to a mission-driven organization with a razor-sharp focus on widening access and inclusion to healthcare,” said Dr. McGrath. “I’m looking forward to sharing my perspectives, insights and experiences with the Niagara Health Board of Directors.”
The Niagara Health Board of Directors is made up of passionate and committed volunteers from across the region who bring diverse perspectives and expertise to support the organization’s governance and strategic direction. Dr. McGrath will draw on his diverse educational and leadership experience to support Niagara Health’s mission of delivering high-quality, safe, and sustainable care to the Niagara community, while continuing to champion student success and the student experience at Niagara College.
