Ron Mawhood interviewed Niagara College’s new women’s basketball head coach, Allie Columbus, during a CKTB segment that aired on June 14.
In the interview, Columbus shares her early passion for basketball, reflects on her post-secondary playing career while balancing academics, and offers insight into the coaching philosophy she plans to bring to NC.
“My coaching philosophy reflects my background in both education and playing experience,” said Columbus. “I want to build a competitive program, but as a coach, I’m also focused on the holistic development of my athletes and the support.”
