Niagara College’s Research & Innovation team was featured in a recent release from Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, spotlighting the addition of a new food-grade laboratory to its Consumer, Sensory & Market Insights (CSMI) facilities.
The release notes a recent collaboration between the CSMI team and Niagara College to develop and test food formulations for research studies. Taste evaluations were conducted on plant-based patties made with fruit and vegetable by-product powders processed in the new lab. The patties were created as part of a multi-year project in partnership with the College.
