On June 11, three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and Welland Tribune) recently reported that Wonders of Welland, Welland’s illustrated children’s book, has earned a national award. The article highlights that Niagara College contributed to the book’s production, which was illustrated by Javier Carranza, a 2023 graduate of NC’s Business program and former co-op student with the City of Welland.
