The Niagara Independent shared NC’s announcement that Allie Columbus has been hired as the new head coach of women’s basketball.
Columbus has recently had an extremely successful career with the women’s basketball program at Brock University while completing her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and then her Master of Science in Kinesiology.
Senior Director of Athletics & Student Engagement at NC, Michele O’Keefe, is quoted in the article: “We’re excited to announce Coach Columbus as our next women’s basketball coach. Allie has started to establish herself in the coaching realm during her time at Brock University and Western University. Her natural leadership and knowledge of the game will no doubt put her in a great place to be successful.”
