CKTB announced that NC has received a significant donation: The estate of Norris Walker has gifted $4 million to the college — the largest estate gift in its history.
The donation includes $3 million for the Destination Niagara Entrance Scholarship, $600,000 for skilled trades expansion at the Welland Campus, and $400,000 for the Dan Patterson Legacy Fund.
In recognition, a common area at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus has been renamed the Norris Walker Family Community Courtyard.
