St. Catharines Standard: NC alumnus to receive the Ontario Medal for Paramedic Bravery

The three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard, and Welland Tribune) reported that Niagara College alumnus Derek Langlois (Paramedic program, 2001 and Advanced Care Paramedic program, 2006) has become Niagara’s first recipient of the Ontario Medal for Paramedic Bravery.

Langlois was honoured for his courageous actions two years ago when he saved the life of Dr. Julie Woods, an ER doctor and his neighbour, who was stabbed multiple times outside her home.
