Niagara College’s Indigenous Education (IE) department proudly supports Indigenous students throughout all stages of their journey at NC and now, for the first time ever, IE is offering Indigenous students the opportunity to connect with prospective employers at the College’s first Indigenous job fair.

Taking place in the Learning Commons at the Welland Campus on April 23 and in room N018 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake on April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Indigenous Education job fair is open to all NC Indigenous students and alumni.

“We’re very excited to welcome prospective employers to the Niagara College campuses to meet with our Indigenous students and alumni,” said Cathy Smith, Indigenous Career Consultant. “This is a great opportunity for our students to explore different career opportunities with a variety of employers and community partners. Whether they are looking for a summer job, a co-op placement or a full-time position, students are encouraged to attend the job fair to meet with employers to see what opportunities are available.”

Indigenous students who plan to attend IE’s job fair should come with an up-to-date resume as employers will be completing interviews on-site.
