I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the employees, students and NC alumni who came together to support our Spring Open House this past weekend.
Saturday’s event was a remarkable success and even the grey skies and rain couldn’t dampen the excitement and energy felt across both campuses as prospective students and their families explored everything NC has to offer.
As we adapt to a new reality shaped by sweeping changes to government policy, and as we work to address significant budget and enrolment challenges, domestic recruitment has never been more important for Niagara College. Spring Open House is one of our largest recruitment events of the year and an important opportunity for us to showcase our world-class campuses, highlight our trailblazing programs and inform visitors about all the services and supports available to students, all while demonstrating what ncLIFE is about.
As we continue to navigate a time of profound change for our sector and our College, I’m beyond proud of our amazing NC family whose passion for our students was front and centre on Saturday. Whether you were leading program information sessions, talking to students at the Student Services Fair or running lab and campus tours, thank you for being such welcoming and enthusiastic ambassadors for our College.
Once again, thank you to the entire NC team for all that you do – at Open House and every day. Your efforts contribute to the continued success of our recruitment efforts and I’m incredibly proud to be part of such a phenomenal team.
