The Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake is leading the charge as the winner of NC’s energy-saving Earth Hour competition.
Leveraging electricity models to measure usage at each campus, the Energy Team determined that the DJP-NOTL Campus consumed five per cent less electricity than predicted. Bravo!
“Thank you to all students and employees who did their part for Earth Hour,” said Danielle Notarianni, Manager, Energy and Assets. “We hope it has inspired you to be more mindful of energy consumption year-round and the small ways you can change your habits to make a big difference.”
Energy mindfulness is encouraged throughout the year. In your day-to-day on campus, do you see areas where energy is wasted? Let us know at [email protected].
