On March 8, the three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard, and Welland Tribune) profiled NC Knights women’s basketball interim head coach and Niagara River Lions basketball player, Kimbal Mackenzie.
The profile highlights that instead of spending the fall/winter season playing pro basketball abroad, as he has in the past, Mackenzie led the NC women’s basketball team to a 14-2 record as interim head coach. Under Mackenzie, NC also topped the West Region with a 14-2 record.
