On November 30, NC Knights women’s volleyball player and Fitness and Health student Abbey Gooder joined Ron Mawhood on CKTB to discuss her volleyball career and the current Knights women’s volleyball season.
When asked to summarize the season, Gooder said, “It started off really strong, and things were going great for us. Despite the ups and downs, we’ve really pulled through and came out on top with seven wins over four losses. I think that’s a great record to go into our break with.”
In the interview, Gooder also discusses how she balances sports and schoolwork, as well as her future career aspirations of becoming a firefighter and athletic trainer.
