On November 7, 101.1 More FM announced that Niagara College will receive $868,625 from the provincial government over the next two years for mental health and addiction services for students.
The announcement highlights that Niagara College is one of 10 postsecondary institutions to receive funding for such services in underserved communities. These funds will address significant gaps in primary care and addiction services and will offer support for Indigenous students through a partnership with Community Addictions Services of Niagara.
