NC is proud to once again support the annual Gillian’s Place Pancake Breakfast for the Wrapped in Courage Campaign. This event aligns with Woman Abuse Prevention Month in Ontario, which is observed in November, and the launch of the Wrapped in Courage Campaign organized by the Ontario Association of Interval & Transition Houses. The campaign encourages community members to wear a purple scarf to show their support for survivors of gender-based violence within their community and beyond.

On November 7, Culinary Arts students, accompanied by Benchmark Chef Justin Downes, will cook up pancakes and sausages on site at Market Square in St. Catharines. The event will run from 7 – 9 a.m., with a cost of $15 per person, including a scarf provided by Gillian’s Place to kick off the Wrapped in Courage campaign.

The NC team aims to prepare breakfast for approximately 300 guests, supporting this important cause and raising awareness about violence and abuse towards women and girls.
