This week, Niagara College is celebrating its largest-ever Fall Convocation, with almost 2,000 students set to graduate on Thursday, October 24, and Friday, October 25.

NC employees are welcome and encouraged to attend Fall Convocation ceremonies, which will take place at the Welland Campus Simplii Financial Athletic Centre and virtually via live stream. View the ceremony schedule and access the livestreamed ceremonies on NC’s convocation website.

Employees are also encouraged to share congratulatory messages on social media using the hashtag #NCGrad2024 and tag @niagaracollege on social posts. Public posts, likes, comments, and reactions will appear on screen during the in-person ceremony and will be incorporated into the livestream.

Reserved seating will be available for all employees who attend this year’s celebrations in support of our graduates. Please ask Enrolment Services staff for directions to this seating area when you arrive. They will have a VIP/Accessible table in the hallway before entering the Simplii Financial Athletic Centre prior to each ceremony.

Please note the following information and closures to accommodate the event:

Please note that parking lots A and C at the Welland Campus will be reserved for graduates and their guests during convocation week, Thursday, October 24 (starting at 6 a.m.) to the end of day on Friday, October 25. These lots are unavailable to employees and students during this time.

All other lots are open and available during convocation week. To view a map of parking lots at the Welland Campus, visit www.niagaracollege.ca/campussafety/parkingservices/lots/.
