Niagara College’s Student Engagement team is offering virtual training sessions for NC employees looking to learn more about the capabilities of NC Engage, the College’s new Student Engagement app.

Announced earlier this year, NC Engage is NC’s new student app that provides students with convenient access to the exciting opportunities available to them outside of the classroom that benefit their NC experience.

Employees are invited to register for a training session on one of the following dates to learn how their department can benefit from using this innovative tool:

  • Thursday, Oct. 24 from 11a.m. – noon (register here using NC Engage).
  • Friday, Oct. 25 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. (register here using NC Engage).

Each session will cover key information about the app, including:

  • Introduction of the app and its benefits;
  • User navigation;
  • Communication tools;
  • Event management, including reporting;
  • Creation of tracks and checklists; and
  • Incentivization tools.

Student Engagement is also offering Group Officer training sessions for staff who are already using NC Engage but have questions about the app or would like to see how other departments are utilizing the app.

Employees can register for Group Officer training on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. (register here using NC Engage).
  • Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. – noon (register here using NC Engage).

A user guide is also available for employees with information and tips to help you get started on NC Engage.

The Student Engagement team looks forward to seeing employees at the training sessions and continuing to work with departments college-wide to enhance the wholistic student experience at NC.
