On October 11, the three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard, and Welland Tribune) published an article about TVOKids’ new series, “Trading Skills,” which aims to introduce the younger generation to various trades by visiting experts across the province.
Niagara College’s Horticulture and Environmental Professor Paul Zammit is featured in the sixth episode, which focuses on plants and horticulture and emphasizes their importance to the environment.
The article highlights Zammit’s experience shooting the episode, quoting him: “I felt there were a number of moments with the young hosts — and the crew — that reminded me of how important it was to continue to make people of all ages aware of the reach of the industry, especially for a younger generation,” said Zammit.
