Message from Thomas Good, Director, Enrolment Services – Systems & Reporting:

I’m pleased to share that Lynn Calder will be moving into a new role, Manager of Scheduling. In this role, Lynn will provide leadership within the scheduling team and ensure that academic course timetables are produced within the critical college deadlines.

Lynn brings over 20 years of dedicated experience at Niagara College as an administrative assistant, scheduling officer, and a part time professor in the School of Business. In 2018, Lynn was the recipient of the Award of Excellence – an award that highlights her commitment to Niagara College and her passion for student success.

As a continuous learner, Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree in General Studies-Applied from Athabasca, Management Studies diploma from Thompson Rivers University, and an Office Administration Executive (Co-op) diploma from Niagara College. She is currently working towards a certificate in Medical Front Office Assistant to enhance her connection with her students. She served two terms (6 years) as the support staff member on the Board of Governors. Lynn’s respect for education and how it empowers learners is what drives her dedication to Niagara College. Family is her number one priority and creating an inclusive work environment with a focus on her work family is just as important.

Lynn will be starting her role on October 15th. Please join me in congratulating Lynn.
