A message from Stephanie Wilson, Director, Centre for Organizational Excellence:
I’m pleased to share that Leana Griese is joining our team as our second Organizational Development & Learning Consultant. In this role, Leana will work alongside Jacqueline Riselay with teams across NC to develop organizational development and learning initiatives aligned with NC’s strategic priorities.
Leana is coming to us with an impressive background in many areas of HR including organizational design, training and development, and change management. Leana has several years of experience with both Bosch and Accenture where she spearheaded strategic projects such as the development of a succession planning framework, employee engagement initiatives and new employee onboarding. Most recently, Leana worked at Brock University as a Talent Development Manager where she developed and delivered programming within the University. Leana also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
In her free time, Leana loves to spend time outside in nature as much as possible. You can often find her going for a run, taking a walk, hiking in a forest, or snowboarding down a mountain. Her love for being in nature in all its seasons stems from her childhood experiences growing up in Northern Ontario. Last, but certainly not the least, Leana believes having a positive attitude in life and incorporating some fun and laughter in each day refreshes the soul.
