A message from Bill Rainey, Senior Director, Facilities Management & Campus Safety:
Beginning October 1, Niagara College will transition to a new Security Guard Service provider, Vista Security.
Vista was selected through an extensive request for proposal (RFP) process as the provider that will help NC continue to meet its goal of providing a safe and secure environment for students, employees, and visitors.
The new provider is working with current provider, Paragon, to ensure a smooth transition. On behalf of Niagara College, I would like to thank Paragon for their service since 2013 and for their support during the transition.
Students and employees will notice a change in appearance, as Vista Security guards will wear grey dress shirts, black cargo pants, and black patrol jackets. The Campus Safety Offices will remain at their current locations and all phone numbers will also remain the same. For information regarding Niagara College Campus Safety, visit the website.
Most of the current guard staff have accepted job offers with Vista Security and will continue their work at our campuses alongside new Vista staff.
