Prepare to be pampered; the NC Teaching Spa has reopened for fall term!
Bookings are filling up quickly. For an appointment in September, NC Teaching Spa currently has availability for express services (express manicure or pedicure, brow and lash tinting or minor waxing).
Those looking to book something more may call to book an October appointment or be placed on the waitlist for a service currently offered.
Services that are currently offered include:
- Cleansing Facial;
- Custom Treatment Facial;
- Express, Regular and Spa Manicure;
- Express, Regular and Spa Pedicure;
- Gel Manicure and Pedicure;
- Sweetheart Manicure and Pedicure;
- Paraffin Lash and Brow Tinting; and
- Waxing (Facial, Underarm, Leg and Bikini).
To book an appointment, call the NC Teaching Spa at 905-641-2252, ext. 4230 and leave a message with your name, the service, and the date and time you would like to come in. Please specify the exact name of the service you would like to book (for example, a “Spa Pedicure” rather than saying, “Pedicure.” After leaving a message, please check your email for confirmation that your appointment has been made.

Teaching Spa hours
Beginning September 20, the Teaching Spa will be open:
- Monday and Tuesday from 4:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and
- Friday from 1:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. for fall term.
About NC’s Teaching Spa
Applied learning is always on the menu at the NC Teaching Spa, where NC Esthetician students gain hands on market-ready experience in a wide range of esthetic services using award winning and internationally recognized industry brands.
The Teaching Spa is open throughout the academic year as students work on public clients under the mentorship of their professors and technologists. From May to August, students are hired as full-time estheticians within the Teaching Spa to gain additional skills and experience.
Clients of the educational spa can enjoy a range of treatments while supporting student learning.
The Teaching Spa is located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake (E103).
