Niagara College’s Signature Chef Series is back by popular demand, featuring its second guest chef for 2024 who will bring the vibrant tastes of Louisiana to Benchmark to celebrate the end of summer.
On Saturday, October 5, the legendary dinner series will kick off with Executive Chef Eric Martinez from the Orlando World Center Marriott – the largest Marriott Hotel globally renowned for its “world beyond compare” experience. Chef Martinez is set to create an unforgettable dining experience, infusing his Louisiana heritage into the gourmet dishes served at Benchmark, located at the College’s Daniel J. Patterson Campus.
The evening will begin with a speakeasy bar and reception-style experience at Benchmark, followed by action food stations in an outdoor tent and patio.
Guests will get to enjoy a one-of-a-kind night with music, friends, and families, featuring a multi-course food carnival served by different stations, paired with Niagara College wine, beer, and cocktails. The menu will include New Orleans-style BBQ Shrimp over Tasso Grits, Blackened Fish with Corn Maque Choux, Duck & Andouille Gumbo and so many more exciting flavours and combinations. For the sweet tooths, the menu will also feature some delicious treats such as Café Du Monde-style Beignets and Banana’s Foster Pudding.
