The 16th annual Niagara Health Big Move Cancer Ride is just around the corner, taking place on Sun., Sept. 8.
Each year, Niagara College gathers a cycling team to participate in the fundraising event in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre. NC’s Big Move team, along with hundreds of Niagara residents, will take off from White Meadows Farms on a 12K, 25K, 50K, or 75K bike ride through scenic Pelham. All routes end back at White Meadows Farms, where riders and their families will enjoy a BBQ lunch, live music, and ceremonies.
NC’s Big Move team is currently in the top 10 on the fundraising scoreboard with a goal to raise $5,000.
There is still time to donate to NC’s Big Move team! Whether you are riding in celebration of a cancer survivor, in support of a cancer patient, or in memory of a loved one lost, riders and donors can take pride in knowing that every dollar raised supports local cancer care.
Visit Niagara College’s page to see who’s participating in the fundraiser or have joined NC’s Big Move Team. If you’re interested in joining the NC Big Move Team, please register here.
