On July 24, the NOTL Local announced that the Niagara Home Builders’ Association (NHBA) will award scholarships to eight students. Among the recipients is Brittney Sykes, who will attend Niagara College this September to pursue a career as a dental assistant.
The Scholarship Program was established to recognize the importance of continuing educational studies beyond high school. Since its conception, the NHBA has awarded over $48,000 to students pursuing a career within a variety of fields which have included, but not limited to; engineering, health sciences, teaching and business studies.
