Niagara College’s (NC) Research and Innovation (R and I) division has expanded its YouTube channel with a suite of new content showcasing their four Innovation Centres focused on sectors of advanced manufacturing, business and commercialization, food and beverage, and horticultural and environmental sciences.
The R and I division at NC provides real-world solutions for business, key industry sectors and the community through applied research and knowledge transfer activities. They conduct projects for industry and community partners that provide innovative solutions, such as producing and testing prototypes, evaluating new technologies, and developing new or improved products or processes for small- and medium-sized businesses. With funding support from various regional, provincial and federal agencies, students and graduates are hired to work alongside faculty researchers to assist industry partners leap forward in the marketplace.
The YouTube channel highlights the people, places, and projects within R and I. The videos aim to showcase the division’s identity, the capabilities of its Innovation Centres, and the benefits for industry partners when they collaborate with R and I. Viewers can explore each teams’ capabilities, meet key staff, and learn about ongoing projects, partnerships, and testimonials.
