A BPSN article on June 18 previewed the Ninth Annual Niagara College Soccer Showcase that offers the top high school soccer players in the Niagara region an opportunity to display their skills.
Rino Berardi, Assistant Coach of NC’s men’s soccer team, Rob Lalama, the women’s soccer team coach, and Frank DeChellis, the men’s soccer team coach, are quoted in the article.
DeChellis highlighted the collaborative effort behind the showcase:
“This is a big event for Niagara College Knights soccer, and our own Knights student-athletes are involved in delivering the event. Other departments are involved, including Athletics and Student Engagement, Enrolment Services, Recruiting, Sports Management, Broadcasting, and the Print Shop. Youngs Sportsplex is a major partner of our program and it’s nice to feature their facility. The game itself is a chance for the best local players to play together for once and show their stuff in an all-star game type of environment.”
