On June 17, the Niagara Falls Review and the St. Catharines Standard published a story about NC alum Erik Tomas who was inducted into the Merrittville Speedway Hall of Fame. He was the voice of Raceline Radio for 32 years before retiring at age 71 and the track announcer for the speedway.
