A message from Dr. Chris McGrath, Vice-President, Students:
I am pleased to welcome Pina McDonnell to Niagara College as the Executive Assistant to the Vice-President, Students. Pina will join us on June 12, 2024, when she will have the opportunity to work closely with Kim Rose prior to her retirement at the end of the month.
Pina comes to NC with over 20 years of service across multiple roles at Brock University, where she most recently served as Academic Administrator in the Department of Communication, Popular Culture, and Film. In addition to dedicated years of service as an academic advisor for the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Pina also provided executive support to senior leaders across Brock, including the Office of the President. She is an enthusiastic advocate for student access to learning and engagement and is eager to share her experience and expertise as we work across the VPS portfolio to build a best-in-class student experience at NC.
Pina was raised in Niagara and has lived throughout the Region her whole life. She has a son, Ryan, who shares her love of NFL football. Sunday afternoons are spent cheering on the Buffalo Bills, which has proven to not be as enjoyable as it sounds.
