Niagara College’s Institute for Global Education & Training: Empowering sustainable change around the world

Niagara College is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of Niagara College’s Institute for Global Education & Training on May 1. Bringing together the expertise of a highly skilled NC team with partner organizations worldwide, the Institute will proudly provide educational solutions designed to inspire sustainable global change.

“As one of Canada’s leading global colleges, NC is committed to providing outstanding applied education and training for a changing world,” said NC President Sean Kennedy. “The establishment of the Institute marks a significant milestone in our steadfast commitment to advance excellence in international education, collaboration, and innovation.”

NC has a rich history of collaborating with global institutions, including developing and delivering customized education and training programs and capacity building projects, to support learners around the world and global partners in achieving their goals in alignment with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Now, the College is taking the next step to expand its reach and impact by establishing an official hub – a one-stop-shop to leverage its existing global education and training offerings and its newly developed modularized global programs. This trailblazing initiative will strengthen NC’s ability to collaborate with its global partners to drive meaningful change.

The Institute offers a wide range of program delivery options, customized to diverse needs, including inbound sessions for on-campus learning, outbound sessions where instructors travel to clients, virtual programs conducted online, and hybrid formats combining in-person and online elements for flexible and effective learning experiences, as well as modularized global programs.

Led by NC’s Senior Director of Global Education and Training, Holly Catalfamo, Niagara College’s Institute for Global Education & Training will initially focus on 14 areas of expertise:
