Newstalk 800 CJAD reported on Stratus Vineyards offering one of its premium vintage wines in bottles being used for a second time.
The segment highlights that Niagara College Environmental students supported this innovation by conducting an eco assessment of its operation and found that glass was responsible for more than a third of the winery’s carbon footprint, which led to test runs of removing the labels and sterilizing the bottle stratus went through in its tasting room and the ones returned by customers.
