On April 10, VP of Advancement, Gord Arbeau was interviewed on CKTB by Walter Senzik to discuss the launch of the Together campaign, NC’s largest fundraising campaign to date, that will raise funds to support new and expanded facilities outlined in the College’s Master Plan, student access, diverse and inclusive learning environments, global competencies and perspectives, and productivity and innovation.
During the segment, Arbeau discussed what inspired the campaign themes and what it hopes to accomplish:
“When we started thinking of the College emerging out of the pandemic we had quite a bit of momentum, our enrollments are up, demand for Niagara College education has never been stronger, and the employers who come to the college to hire our graduates have clearly identified a number of key areas and an increased need for grads in those areas [such as skilled trades and healthcare]. You can’t listen to a newscast or read online and not understand the immediate need we have in those areas, so when we thought of this campaign and its themes we really wanted to address these urgent challenges now.”
