Ahead of Trans Day of Visibility on March 31, NC students and employees are invited to participate in a presentation by the Niagara Transgender Action Coalition (NTAC) and partnering local organizations to learn about local efforts and initiatives supporting trans communities within the Niagara Region.
Co-hosted by the NC Rainbow Knights, Community Relations, and Human Resources, the presentation aims to amplify trans voices and inspire all of us at NC to explore ways we can contribute to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for trans communities.
Mark your calendars and take part in this important event! The presentation will be held in a hybrid format on March 28 from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Participants attending in person are welcome to join in Room N018 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake. For virtual attendees, a Zoom link will be sent prior to the event.
Participating local organizations include:
- Niagara Transgender Action Coalition
- Niagara Reproductive Justice
- OPIRG Brock
- Brock Pride
- PFLAG Niagara
- Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre
- Queer Kid Bible Camp
