St. Catharines Standard: NC partners with Niagara Health Knowledge Institute to offer $10,000 scholarships

On March 11, the three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) released an article announcing that Niagara Health Knowledge Institute (NHKI), the hospital system’s research program has formed partnerships with Niagara College and Brock University to provide $10,000 scholarships to one student from each institution annually, allowing the students to work May to August with Niagara Health research scientists participating in clinical trials in cardiology, critical care medicine, emergency medicine, hematology and transfusion medicine, neurology, oncology and thrombosis.
